Clear answers for practices weighing Med Profit IQ alongside the tools they already use.
Yes. Your practice owns the EHR, accounting, and financial data you authorize Med Profit IQ to read. Med Profit IQ is an analytics layer—not your system of record—and uses that access to surface claims, AR, and cash-flow insights. You can disconnect an integration and request a machine-readable export; retention and deletion follow our Privacy Policy and Terms.
No. Keep QuickBooks for the general ledger, expenses, payroll, and tax prep. Med Profit IQ connects with read-only access and adds the practice-specific layer QuickBooks does not provide: insurance AR aging by payer, collections and denial visibility, and 90-day cash-flow forecasting. It works alongside QuickBooks rather than replacing it.
The trial gives you access to the plan you select, including the KPI dashboard, cash-flow monitoring and forecasting, insurance AR aging, and the available accounting/EHR connections. You can evaluate Med Profit IQ with sample data or your authorized practice data and see how it complements QuickBooks before you commit.
At the end of the 7-day trial, you choose whether to continue on a paid plan. A no-card trial expires without an automatic charge and requires an upgrade to restore full access. If you choose a card-on-file checkout, the first subscription charge occurs after the trial and the checkout shows the plan price; cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged.
Cancel from your account settings or email jim@dohertyandassociates.com. Paid subscriptions remain active through the current billing period; for a card-on-file trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge. You keep access through the applicable end date.
